The Harrell House of Natural Oddities is dedicated to sharing our passion for the natural world and science. We offer a wide-range of products including toys, models, science projects, fossils, artwork and jewelry for enthusiasts of all ages. The Museum features Oliver Greer's Crawlywood Collection, a staggering assortment of 2,400 mounted insects, arachnids and other bugs from all over the world. You will also see the Harrell Houses' own collection of LIVE invertebrates including dozens of live tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes, millipedes and other amazing creepy-crawlies!

This has a new location: 4250 Cerrillos Rd Unit 6700B, Santa Fe, NM 87507
. Neat stop to check out bugs from all over the world (as both preserved displays and living critters). Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly - they even let me hold a few bugs!

Tucked into a mall storefront you might not realize how wonderful this place is from the front . Huge collection of specimens from all over the world and dozens of live samples. The collection would be plenty to cover the $5.00 adult admission but the folks there take it to a higher level by sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge freely.
