“Camping & RV in NM”
This is the perfect spot to slow down, read a book, sit by the campfire, toast a marshmallow (or two) and just relax. It is also the perfect spot to be adventurous and explore all that Santa Fe and the surrounding areas have to offer. Our campground is so much more than just an overnight stay. Let this KOA be your home base as you visit the Santa Fe Plaza, San Miguel Mission, Palace of the Governors and Loretto Chapel. Check out Canyon Road, where you'll find many shops, galleries and restaurants. Summer is filled with weekend festivals to enjoy. The local cuisine is spicy and flavorful - you won't want to miss it! What will tomorrow bring? A drive to the Rio Grande Gorge or a day touring Museum Hill? Whatever you decide, it will enrich your life. Max pull thru: 65 feet. Your hosts: Gerry and Clarissa Hodges

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on May 31, 2022We stayed at Santa Fe KOA one night as we were traveling through town. It is located just 8 min. From Santa Fe Plaza which is rich with local artist, plenty of shops & places to eat. We cannot say enough about the excellent customer service we were welcomed with. Upon arriving at the park it was clean & well organized, Shelby was very friendly & welcoming, she checked us in, Jerad escorted us to the dump station & then to our camp site. (Most RV sites have full hook ups just not our first site). Our reserved campsite was too narrow for our RV pop-out so Jerad quickly assisted with relocating us to a new site.
There was no cell service or internet but again we were quickly assisted with connecting us to the parks WiFi. We would highly recommend a stay here if coming to the area.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and the staff is friendly.
I’d say the place is ok but nothing worth raving about. We were here during a heat wave. Our site was a little exposed and most of the sites are pretty close together. Shade is pretty scarce. The picnic table was rundown. We didn’t spend much time at the campground so it worked for our visit.

We are not big KOA users but needed a place to do laundry, dump, fill up propane, relax and feel at ease to go and explore. This our needs. The only reason we didn’t give it a 5, it’s a KOA. 🤷♀️ They have made and are making a lot of improvements. Our site was perfect for our small trailer. We had space, privacy, ATT and WiFi. It is about a 15-20 minute drive into town and pretty much anywhere. Highly recommend the Cafe Fina down the road. (Dogs allowed too.) It was a good stay.

Let me say I’m not a big fan of KOA campgrounds but if I find more like this, I could change my mind.
Really nice people. Nice spots, spotless facilities. Great, for stopping through.
Reasonably priced.

Campground has been well maintained and its obvious new upgrades. Sites are close together. All gravel unless you upgrade to one with a patio. Their Deluxe sites are fenced, with BBQs, fake grass for pets...even a hydrant! Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Nice laundry facility. Staff extremely couteous and nice. My only complaint was our site and a few others had cactus, which with a dog or young children, no bueno. Didn't realize it was 20 minutes north of Santa Fe, but with a tow Jeep was fine.

This was definitely one of the best KOAs we have ever stayed in. While it might be a Journey, it has very impressive amenities including great wifi, a nice store, and some very nice upgraded pads. Friends stayed in their cabin, which are nice though the smaller ones didn't have a bathroom.
The owners, who are so friendly and wonderful, are adding even more upgrades including a great play area with corn hole and putting green. Conveniently located off the highway, it is easy to get to all the highlights of the city. We highly recommend the breakfast spot just down the road, Cafe Fina! We went at least three times!

This is one of best and cleanest KOAs I’ve stayed at. Staff was very nice. They are doing some upgrades to the spots as we speak. Close to Santa Fe lots to do. Great for dogs with the dog run. Verizon has low reception but ATT is great.

Shared services site. Close enough together that you can hand stuff back & forth between campers with slides out. Gravel sites. On old route 66. Mrs campground host easy enough to get along with, Mr campground host kind of crabby when questioned about hookups. Stayed in late April.
