The summer 2012 has come and it has been a more normal growing season than the past two vintages and we are glad to say, “Hasta la vista” to la Nina. 2012 has brought a series of firsts to Kenneth Volk Vineyards our first commercial bottling of Albariño the first to be grown produced and bottled in the Santa Maria Valley from our neighboring RiverBench Vineyard. This delicious aromatic Iberian variety seems well suited to the cool Santa Maria Valley.
