Forsyth Park

They have a farmer's market every week, and there's almost always something exciting going on here. There's a park for the kids, and lots of benches, and a little concession stand thing in the middle. But keep in mind... it gets HOT and HUMID here in the summer. Like, you will sweat buckets. But it's worth it to see the Spanish moss off the trees and the little streetlights and stuff.

We visit this city park every once in a while. In every visit, we always bring our dogs with us. It is a nice place to have a walk with your furry friends. There are large, beautiful oaks surrounding the area. Lots of trees that can give you shade throughout your stay. Moreover, the houses around the area were very pleasant to the eyes, too. The homes were classic and lovely. Last but not the least, the center fountain was such a beauty! This is a very nice place to wander through!

This park had a lot of traffic driving around it, and people walking in it. We thought it was pretty and scenic. You can see the fountain from the far end just driving by. It's free to visit. It was hot to us in Spring, so I couldn't imagine visiting in the Summer time when it's humid. We did enjoy the Spanish Moss. It's definitely worth a stop when visiting Savannah.

This is one of the most beautiful parks I've ever visited. When I first came to Savannah years ago, I went here and it made me want to move to the town. I could just picture spending afternoons lazing around the fountain, and grabbing a bite to eat at the park cafe. It's really an amazing place.

Definitely stop here. The walking paths are so beautiful, serene! It was also a nice break from the long road trip, the kids ran around, played on the jungle gym, it was perfect.

This park is an absolute dream, actually made me want to move to Savannah. Make sure to eat at the restaurant at the middle of the park, amazing food and drinks. And the fountain is a must see!! We parked right on street for free and walked quickly to the fountain. Good to see.

Absolutely beautiful! Could spend a whole day here exploring this park. There were many hidden treasures just in the short area we explored. Would love to go back with more time to enjoy it.

This is quintessential Savannah...the area you want to be! It's expensive to get a hotel here, so we recommend a vacation rental!
