“New southern cuisine in a sophisticated setting”
Not only is the Olde Pink House full of history, but the atmosphere is great. The service is right on point and full of great recommendations. Have a delicious lunch meal at this 18th-century mansion in Savannah's Historic District. Whether it's the Crispy Scored Flounder which came with grits and collard greens or a jalapeño infused margarita, you'll love what you find. All the staff members, from the hostess to the bus boy and doormen pride themselves on their hospitality. They really demonstrated why Savannah is called "The Hostess City of the South". In addition to the delicious meal, you can have fun walking around the different rooms-- there's 11 separate dining rooms. The downstairs section is a bar with a piano and seating for dinner. There is also a cute and romantic wine cave with displays of wine and a small round dining table.
This is a fantastic place to bring a date. We ordered the scallops, they were delicious. It can get pricey though. But, in my opinion it's worth it. Great ambiance. Very relaxing. It really feels like you've stepped back in time.
A great place with the "romantic feels". It has a rather classic vibe to it that would make its guest feel very relaxed. My boyfriend took me here on my birthday and the place didn't fail to make me feel so special. A very nice gentleman from the front desk welcomed us and offered to tour us around the charming house which was full of history. Every room was just lovely and sophisticated. After the tour, we went back and had a very sumptious dinner. Everything was simply delicious. The praline dessert basket was the best part for me. After our meal, a nice lady went to our table and sang a song for me. Very warm place with very friendly staff. Definitely one excellent place to dine at.
Ate here a couple of years ago had a lovely romantic evening. Dont remember too much specifically about it, but I do remember the atmosphere was great, as was the food & drink.
Amazing food, service, and ambiance... our server Candice was amazing gave us great recommendations and the manager was always checking in on us... we had shrimp and grits which were amazing and the BLT salad for starters with fried tomatoes which was great too. I had the fried pork chop with mac and greens and gravy which was to die for and my hubby ordered the filet with potatoes and asparagus. We could not fit desert...
Food was amazing and the service was good! Would definitely go back.
One of my favorite restaurants in the world. I loved it so much the first time that I flew back to Savannah for one night just to eat here....lunch, dinner, and lunch the next day
My wife and I walked into the Olde Pink House with high expectations, but to be honest we were both underwhelmed.
The evening started nice enough. We shared an appetizer and I had a bowl of the she crab soup, and both were good. My wife selected a wine recommended by the waiter which she enjoyed and we thought we were in for a treat.
Instead, the entrees arrived and it was all around disappointing. My wife's steak was overdone and tough. My fish was dry, the mashed potatoes lukewarm and both of our veggies were RAW. The waiter also never refilled my water and it took forever to get our check. It was like once we got our food we were not worth checking up on. It was also later in the evening, around 8 pm, and the place was already starting to slow down, so no excuse for bad service.
All of this said, the experience was okay, the ambiance was nice. However, I would never go back, and I probably wouldn't recommend it to others.
