“The gateway to historical Savannah”
Tricentennial Park in Savannah incorporates several different park sites and museums. These sites include the Savannah History Museum & Battlefield Memorial Park, Savannah Children's Museum, Georgia State Railroad Museum, the Visitor Center for Savannah and the Whistlestop Café. Tricentennial Park is the gateway to historical Savannah.
I went to:
The children's museum is impressive- its mostly outdoors so I was worried about the kids in the heat, but there are misting stations and many shaded areas including a garden.
The train museum was cool. Definitely do the executive box car tour.
