The campground is not really on the beach, instead you are tucked away in a wooded campground. The sites here are some of the hugest I have ever seen in a campground. It was like having a huge apartment all to ourselves. We arrived on a Sunday and had the campground pretty much all to ourselves.

Unfortunately we had to leave early so didn't get to explore as much as we would like. But the beach area is pretty if a little small. The area is densely wooded so if you rely on solar energy you may find it difficult. There is water in the campground as well as restrooms. There is a dump station also on site.

Just arrived at this little gem of a park and initial impressions are great. Aside from giant spaces well reviewed previously, I'm hitting 17Mbps/7Mbps down/up boosted on AT&T. I actually got better down but terrible up (<1Mbps) unboosted. Verizon seems spotty here, but if I messed with it more maybe it would improve.

This place rocks! Small beach but what a view. Sites are primitive but provide selcusion. I had a great Verizon signal, 4 bars with a booster I had a perfect signal.

I really want to give scenic beach 5 stars because we loved it so much! But there are two major drawbacks that we’ll get to in a sec.

Pros:
- These are some of the most beautiful, amazing campsites we’ve ever encountered! It’s all big, beautiful pines and lush PNW rainforest vibes.
- HUGE sites with a driveway AND big tent/relaxation pad with campfire and picnic bench. Lots of pull-throughs for RVs
- with the trees, these are the most private sites ever, you will not see your next door neighbors!
- wonderfully maintained, manicured sites, clean fairly updates bathrooms, some of the best of a state park we’ve seen
- cell signal strong enough to work & stream
- very quiet
- off season is walk in only, a dream for full-timers. End of September only a handful of campers.
- access to beautiful water. Not really a beach, but swimming and boat access and gorgeous Mountain View’s.

Cons:
- no hookups. Which we don’t normally mind trading hookups for a beautiful site, except...
- $30/ night is a lot for no hookups. You can pay slightly less for smaller sites, $25. These are off season rates, I think it can be up to $40/night in the summer. Water spigots and dump station and flush toilets and pay showers are available though.
- because of the beautiful trees we also couldn’t get enough solar to stay longer

I still highly recommend this campground, you will have a wonderful experience, especially if you’re staying short term or in a tent. However, you will be paying for the experience.

This is one of our favorite close to home camping spots. We have stayed here tent camping and with our trailer. In the off season they close the upper loop which has lots of nice large sites. We recently stayed in site 22 which was tight for our 30ft trailer and truck. Site 20 also looked tight. Sites16 17 and 19 are your best pull through options in the off season. I am already looking forward to spring and seeing the wild rhododendrons blooming in the forest. We love walking the beach and seeing the eagles and otters in the morning. I believe Seabeck pizza will still deliver pizza to your site.

This campground is kept in exquisite condition. There are no views of the water from the camp sites but just a short walk down the hill to the beach will give you stunning views of the mountains. We loved this place. Solid cell coverage too.

I recently stayed at Scenic Beach State Park from October 6th to 9th, and I had a wonderful time. The pull-through campsite was spacious and surrounded by trees, and the people were very respectful of quiet hours. Generators are permitted to run from 0800 to 2100, which was helpful for charging our RV batteries.

The beach is very small and faces easterly, so the sun sets are hidden by the trees and the Olympic Mountains. However, the park has excellent hiking trails, and we enjoyed exploring the area on foot.

There are no hookups at Scenic Beach State Park, but potable water is available at various spigots throughout the park. There is also a dump site for $5.00.

Overall, I highly recommend Scenic Beach State Park to campers who are looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay. The park is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Pros:

Spacious campsites surrounded by trees
People are respectful of quiet hours
Generators are permitted to run from 0800 to 2100
Excellent hiking trails in the area
Potable water is available at various spigots throughout the park
Dump site available for $5.00

Cons:

The beach is very small and faces easterly, so the sun sets are hidden by the trees and the Olympic Mountains.
No hookups at the campsites
Tips:

Bring plenty of water and firewood. There is a general store close to the park but they do not sell firewood.
Be sure to check the tide tables before going to the beach, as the beach is very small at high tide.
Wear sturdy shoes for hiking, as the trails can be rocky.

Great and picturesque state park. The campsites are secluded and quiet, which makes you feel like you're in the woods. Lots of stuff to do too with good biking areas, a pretty long beachfront and some pretty cool wildlife around.
