“Get your tookies on”
Seabrook’s Iconic Burger Joint, Tookie’s, was originally opened in 1975. Due to flood damage caused by Hurricane Ike, original owner Jim Spears decided not re-open this historic burger joint. With inspiration from the communities request for Tookie’s return, Barry Terrell purchased Tookie’s in 2011, with the goal of maintaining it’s original spirit! Tookie’s re-opened in August of 2011, showcasing the original recipes & décor, with the addition of a full bar, new kitchen, larger restrooms & a patio for outside dining! Whether you are an old Tookie’s fan or new, we hope to see you soon, for some good old fashioned burgers… The Tookie’s way!
