“truly one of the hidden jewels in the county”
A rural day use park that features a maintained trail from a parking area near Fishhawk Creek to the base of Fishhawk Falls, and approximately 2000 feet of frontage on Fishhawk Creek. An abandoned stone road in the southeast corner leads to a natural meadow area. A stone quarry, located on the southwest section of the property, is currently used by the County Road Department. The falls are the main attraction for day visitors. There has been some unauthorized primitive camping. Lee Wooden Park is truly one of the hidden jewels in the county park system.
