Travel on the Canal & Create Journals Locate local sculptures - Take Photographs Enjoy games, learn about locks, operate old tools. 89 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY. Bounded east and west by the two largest of the Finger Lakes, Seneca County's people live harmoniously with the County's greatest natural beauty.  The County is home to Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, two dozen estate wineries, and numerous Amish and Mennonite farms. Joseph Smith's revelations began the Church of Latter Day Saints here, and the first Women's Rights Convention was held in Seneca Falls in 1848. The Museum's south entrance is on the award-winning Canal harbor. Many of our visitors, arriving by boat, explore hands-on and interactive displays, intriguing exhibits and artifacts, the play-learning children's center. The Museum's primary purpose is to delight and inform, to lift the imagination as it strikes sparks of discovery.
