“An old rail bridge turned garden”
The Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts is free and open every day from April 1 until October 30. We invite you to stroll across the Bridge from Bulb Season, to Dahlia Season and every bloom season in between. Thousands of bulbs, perennials, annuals and flowering shrubs come into bloom over the course of the year. Sit in the sun on the Buckland side surrounded by bright plantings before you even step foot on the Bridge. Pause for a few moments in the middle of the Bridge to take in views of the river and flowers, continue on and then enter the cool shade of the Shelburne side where you can enjoy our new Stone Spring.
Definitely worth the stop
Really beautiful place to visit. The volunteers can be seen working very hard to keep up the garden. My 9 year old couldn't get enough of this place. And it was FREE!
While you're there, might as well stop and see the glacial potholes just steps away (there are signs), and visit Lamson's Factory Outlet where you can find (affordable) Made in the USA knives, tools and cutlery.
Quaint little town with a very beautiful bridge.
Wonderful effort by the locals that maintain the bridge.
