“taking our creative efforts to the edge with every wine we produce”
We are a family whose lives are driven by our passions! Obviously, winemaking is one of those passions; we take our creative efforts to the edge with every wine we produce! As soon as harvest draws to an end, and the wine barrels are tucked away for the winter. We begin our trek to the mountains for a wonderful season of Ski Racing with our children Sarah and Alec. The solitude of the mountains has always been a magical place for us to play! There is nothing quite as mystical as the mountains, they can be very kind, or they can be very hard on you. It has been one of my life's pursuits to understand what the mountains want to share with us all! I think this is an adventure that will never end! It is not at all uncommon for us to chase the winter storms north into Canada if the storm track is not in California. Motorcycling with our friends is another one of our passions! Charlie would rather be on his motorcycle than diving his truck. When Renee has the time we enjoy a short ride together. Charlie, however, will ride throughout the state of California regularly. It is commonplace for Charlie to show up at wine events on his bike! Spending time laughing, and enjoying fine wines with our friends and family is also one of the most important parts of our lives! Somehow we manage to continue juggling all the balls in the air! But it is worth every minute of the efforts we put into our passions!!
