Special thanks to our dedicated suppliers We supply our kitchen with local products, natural free range and pasture raised meat, eggs & dairy. We feature a high percentage of organic and sustainable agriculture-minded ingredients. In parnership with Eureka Recycling, we currently compost all food waste and non-recyclable paper products in Minneapolis. We also recycle all cardboard, glass, cans, aluminum and qualified plastics. For all dairy we use re-useable/ washable glass and purchase many products in bulk containers to avoid wasteful packaging whenever possible. We also filter all tap water for drinking and cooking to offer a good alternative to the large carbon footprint attached to bottled spring water.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant! The food is made from scratch and the service is always impeccable. We usually get the black beans and yellow rice, guacamole, crispy yucca (tastes like fried potatoes), creamed spinach, and a piece of cornbread. And yes, we have leftovers. The best part about the yucca is the citrus and garlic dipping sauce. Yum! My mom has tried the chicken and says it is also great (moist and done to perfection). I have never ordered anything that I haven't loved. Their sangria is really good too- not too sweet. Good beer selection. Great place for gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan eating.
