“Subtle pairings and Fresh Flavors”
Good food doesn’t have to be extravagant, good service doesn’t have to be stuffy, good wine doesn’t have to be expensive. At joan’s in the Park Restaurant and Wine Bar, we are changing the face of fine dining. Chef/owner Susan Dunlop and maître d’/owner Joan Schmitt — whose combined experience includes such Twin Cities’ favorites as Morton’s the Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, and Triä — aim to bring you warm, unpretentious hospitality coupled with their distinctive, yet classic, fare. Subtle pairings, fresh flavors: our dishes get right to the heart of good food. We use the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, to create our American classics—like our 14oz NY Strip—as well our more unique offerings—such as our Baby Beet Blue Cheese Salad. At joan’s in the Park, we believe that every dining experience should be memorable: a day, a week, a month afterwards, we want you to recall that delicious dish you had at joan’s.
