“Gateway to the Gorge”
This 900 foot tunnel was dynamited out of solid rock between 1910 and 1911. It was used to transport timber from logging operations in Red River Gorge. Today, this one lane tunnel is the most dramatic entry point for Red River Gorge Park.
randomly went on a road trip trying on acid to this tunnel. amaze

Very cool ! Was a quick drive thru. Definitely worth the time.
Driving through this tunnel is definitely dramatic. It is a beautiful man-made addition to the Gorge, and it is loads of fun to drive through.
Great experience driving through the tunnel. Worth the trip!
