Alfonso’s Pastry Shoppe

This is the bakery used as a filming location in the 1983 movie Easy Money. Alfonso's Pastry Shoppe can be seen when the characters of Monty Capuletti (Rodney Dangerfield) and Nicky Cerone (Joe Pesci) pick up the wedding cake of Monty's daughter Allison (Jennifer Jason Leigh). The two walk out of the bakery, called Alfonso's Bakery and Scungilli in the film, carrying the cake and knock two black clad ladies into the bushes. They then put the cake into Nicky's plumbing work truck (he wedges in next to the toilet for support). Alfonso's offers many delicious treats. The film also starred Jeffrey Jones, Taylor Negron, Tom Noonan, Candice Azzara, the late Geraldine Fitzgerald, and the uncredited Frank Vincent.
