“For the military aircraft lover”
The Collings Foundation is a 501(c)3, non-profit, Educational Foundation founded in 1979. The Collings Foundation currently operates the Wings of Freedom Tour of World War II Aircraft and the Vietnam Memorial Flight of Vietnam-era aircraft. Originally dedicated to transportation-related history events, during the mid-eighties, these activities were broadened to include aviation-related events such as air shows, barnstorming, historical reunions, and joint museum displays on a nationwide level.
Flew in the B17 one week before she crashed at Bradley field. A most rewarding and interesting flight. Would do it again if given the chance. My children (3) bought me the flight time. As I am 78 and need a walker. the people on the ground crew made sure I got in and was seated. When we were airborne the other passengers helped me move around. Thanks to all. Michael Carpini Wolcott Ct.
