“History in every bottle”
Route 66 is a great road to follow because you can find history in every mile. For years people have driven down the mother road in the spirit of fun with friends and family. We invite you to our Tasting Room to experience our wines and taste the magic of Route 66. A touch of freedom, a splash of fun, years of education and experience are in every bottle.
Totally worth the stop! From the minute I pulled up I knew I was in for a treat...staff was very friendly and kind. The building is an old church that the original owners restored beautifully...the exposed wood floors and walls is gorgeous! The wines (at least the two that I sampled) were very good and unique, and have received multiple awards...be sure to ask the meaning behind the names! There is a lovely variety of items for sale in the shop, and beautiful area out back to relax when weather permits. I wish I lived closer to this gem, and I will definitely be stopping there on my way back home!!
The Traveling Winers on Oklahoma Wine Trail
The winery is housed in an old catholic church and filled to the brim with everything wine (seasonings, aprons, chill packs, wine glass covers, etc.). The tasting was set up for us the moment we walked through the door and Martha, the self-proclaimed “Vintner’s Assistant”, took immediate charge and gave a friendly, informative tasting experience. The vineyard was small with an over abundance of charm, an inviting backyard BBQ space, and a small fermenting and bottling area. Martha gave us an estate tour, where Tom Joe got to label his first wine bottle ever (kind of). When you visit, don’t forget to ask Martha about “wine diamonds”. Oh! and they make their wines with 100% Oklahoma grown grapes!
