Nice walking trails. Facilities were in good shape with showers and flush toilets. They also have a small store and bike and canoe/kayak rentals.

Great for bicycling around and seeing the sites, you can rent kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. They have a huge boat launch into Sturgeon Bay, great for skiing and tubing. Campsites are nice and you can have water and electric for $30 a night and no additional charges for extra adults or children. Great tent and trailer camper spots. No quite time though, so for those people that want quite time find a more secluded spot. They usually have activities through out the summer for adults and children. Great hiking trails.

The entry roads to the park were a little tight for a newer 5th wheel user. Our site 9E was a little unlevel, but outside of that we loved the place.
We mainly used the park as a jump point for site seeing Door County. That said great hiking, biking and even trail biking trails throughout the park. Plenty of places in the park (very near campgrounds) to just sit on the water and take in the views.
Amenities were older but very clean and usable. Every time I used showers they were hot and clean even though park was farely busy. Camp store was amazingly well stocked with everything from food (bought farm fresh eggs) to camping stuff to beer.
We didn't use but they appeared to have rentals of all kinds (boats; bikes; kayaks, SUP, etc). All in all great place.

Potawatomi is the little sister to the prestigious Peninsula SP further up the road in Door County. And that's just fine. The scenery is just as beautiful, and you don't have to deal with the big tourist crowds during the season.
Pros:
- Very good park store with all the necessities but no food service.
- Bike and canoe/kayak rentals
- Nice trail system, both hiking and biking. Plenty of scenic overlooks.
- Convenient to Sturgeon Bay
Cons:
- Shower building inadequate for size of campground
- Poor mobile data and phone signal

We stayed here in a camper van on a Sunday night. The weekend was full in September. The previous campers were late getting out of our site by an hour and a half. Bath house is really too small for the number of sites there. Some nice hiking. S&J, WanderingWakes.Net

It was an okay park for us. Site was unlevel but doable. Most sites seemed to be shaded and mostly level. We had no signal for our Visible/verizon. Dump station is located at entrance of park with fill water. Fill water at dump station is slow filling.
We walked the Hemlock trail and it was nice at times but for a portion of it, it was not managed and had tall grass and weeds. Nice places by the lake to sit.

Road In Narrow At Times. Road Loops In the Campground Are Very Narrow. Sites In 40’s Have A Bluff Behind Them So They Are A Bit Shorter. Sites In The 50’s Tend To Have The Bay Behind Them. Great access to the water of Sturgeon Bay.
