“enjoy a quiet get-away”
Welcome to Bearlodge Mountain Resort, your peaceful retreat in scenic Wyoming. Whether you seek solace from a busy life, a hunting base camp, thrilling adventures, or a comfortable spot to explore local attractions, you've found your ideal Wyoming RV park. In Wyoming, life moves a little more slowly. We cherish simplicity, where ""networking"" means two pickups parked for a chat in the road and groceries are found in the woods during fall. Neighbors might be hours away or just down the road, and directions are given in ""north and south."" Here, sincerity thrives, and a handshake carries meaning. At Bearlodge Mountain Resort, we offer you the essence of ""tiny home living."" Our cabins are designed to be your home during your stay, ensuring you make the most of your Wyoming getaway. We're committed to providing exceptional value for your vacation. As you kick off your boots and hang up your coat, you'll discover the true essence of Wyoming's hospitality, and the magic of Sundance camping. We eagerly await the opportunity to host your vacation. Welcome to the heart of Wyoming.
We decided to stay here for 2 days while in the area to see Devils Tower. The Owner was very nice, allowed us to check in a couple hours early and even when we had trouble getting the tv to work, one text to him and less than 5 minutes later he was at our cabin door to fix it. The cabins are easily missed when driving on the main road, had to make a U turn to see it from the opposite direction. (the driveway is located just passed a 2 story red house). The road up to the cabins is rocky and rustic but we liked how far off the main road it was, as it was quiet. The cabin itself, we stayed in #5, it was small and quaint, just big enough for 3 without being crowded. Had a nearly full size frig, a stove top and dishes. However, the only pans it came with were 2 sauce pans, so we went to the nearby Dollar store and bought a cheap $10 set of 3 fry pans so we could cook breakfast, which btw we left for the next renter. the bathroom was nice and although it had a loft bedroom area and 2 small downstairs bedrooms, the beds downstairs were just foam, no springs, no support, we just did not sleep well on them. Another pro and con to the cabin, it had a nice size TV but no couch or love seat to watch from, only a kitchen table and 4 hard straight back chairs. We unfortunately decided to leave after just 1 night. We were headed to Colorado and since it was a 6 hr drive, we decided to head towards Colorado and a nice hotel.
The porch was a highlight as there was a constant breeze and the view was divine. We unfortunately would not stay here again but encourage others to give it a try.
