Byblos is the Greek name of the ancient Phoenician city Gebal in what is now Lebanon. Byblos is said to have been founded around 5000 BC. Today it is believed by many to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. The restaurant is very small, but cozy and inviting. It's all good.. The hummus is creamy with a wonderful pool of olive oil in the middle, the tabbouleh is chopped fresh just for your order, and the falafel is nothing less than perfect.
