In the past 30 years Castoro Cellars has developed one of the premium winemaking facilities in the country. The state of the art facility is also a certified organic winery.

Castoro Cellars is a nice large facility with beautiful grounds. They have a very inviting patio nicely landscaped with wooden trellises and picnic tables waiting to be occupied. Say “hi” to the cats as they slink about the property, some more friendly than others (ask Brian – as he was petting the large cat laying on the couch by the warm fire….the thing bit him!…just a little nip though..)
Castoro Cellars has been in business for over 30 years, first being planted in 1971. They have about 1,300 acres, not all of which are planted. A little more than 350 acres are certified organic, a big deal for our “hippy winer”, Elizabeth. Another interesting piece of information is that their wine maker, Tom Myers, has been with Castoro Cellars over 30 years, having his hand in every single vintage!
