“experience the history of one of the oldest brands in America”
At the Clabber Girl Museum you'll experience the history of one of the oldest brands in America and delight in the art of home baking. Open to the public 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, the museum is adjacent to the building where Clabber Girl Baking Powder, developed by Hulman & Co., is still manufactured at 9th & Wabash in Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitors will enjoy museum exhibits including examples of Hulman & Co. products and brands, an antique racecar and Clabber Girl delivery wagon. Exploring the beautifully restored building, you’ll be transported back in time with the antique household items and kitchen appliances, vintage toys, and old-fashioned coal generator.
What a fun little museum. Had never heard of the Baking Powder Wars. The kitchen is a much nicer place today.
Quirky and a fun blast from the past. Well preserved and you can walk around at your own pace.
