“Smells and looks lovely!”
The farm is located on the bluffs of the Kansas river, a few miles west of Topeka, the capital city of Kansas. While our climate is not what one would consider “native” for lavender, the plants have produced an extremely fragrant crop. We grow eight varieties, however, Grosso and Provence are the main crop. This is a great place for anyone who loves nature and lavender in particular.
Make sure you visit the web site first. You're supposed to make appointments which I didn't realize until I got there. From where I could see there wasn't much lavender. Probably would've been better if I had made an appointment
Looks beautiful. However I called and they no longer are open for tours as most of their lavender plants are not longer there.
Says it opens again in June for tours.
