“Fish and Sleep in the Sprawling Woods!”
Crowder State Park provides 1,912 acres in the rolling green hills of northern Missouri. Visitors can enjoy more than 17 miles of hiking, bicycling and equestrian trails in a forested, rugged terrain. The park also offers fishing, boating and swimming opportunities in 18-acre Crowder Lake. The family-oriented campground includes modern restrooms and shady picnic sites are scattered throughout the park. Crowder State Park offers basic and electric campsites, an organized group camp and a special-use camping area. For a little extra space, try one of the park's family campsites. On-season (April 15 through Oct. 31) services include a dump station, showers, water, firewood and reservable sites. Current nightly camping fees can be found through Camping Fees on the right or by clicking here. The campground is open March through November. Reservations can be made for stays during the on-season. For weekend reservations, there is a required two-night minimum stay of Friday/Saturday. The use of generators is prohibited in the campground, unless approved by the park manager. Special consideration will be given for use of generators relating to customer health and safety. During the off-season (Nov. 1 through April 14), potable water is available from the frost-free spigot at campsite 10. The campground is closed December through February. A printable campground map is available below for your reference. Great fishing opportunities await you at Crowder Lake. The 18-acre lake abounds with channel catfish, largemouth bass, crappie and blue gill, and is available to the public during park hours.
