“guided kayak tours”
Join us for our fun salt marsh kayak tours to Tybee Island and Little Tybee Island offered daily year round. Book morning and afternoon in the summer, mid day in fall and winter. Don’t want to come inside? Book a full day tour instead. Experience is unnecessary, only the desire to paddle. Enjoy the outdoors, get a bit of exercise and learn about coastal Georgia. Our guided kayak tours are the perfect way to get through the elements that make up the coastal barrier island system. The experience of kayaking is an exhilarating hands on outdoor activity for fun and environmental education. We can accommodate all levels of paddlers from beginning up through some exciting challenges for the seasoned paddler. Our half day tour is designed to be an introduction to the sport, paddling through the protected estuary and beach combing on Little Tybee nothing could be more serene and refreshing. Our tidal ranges is between 6 and 9 feet so every time we go out things are a bit different, this allows dynamic opportunities for our guides to offer the most spontaneous experiences for your ecology program. Chances for viewing shorebirds and marsh birds, bird of prey, dolphin, crabs abound. The full day tour for beginners in still protected but allows us to paddle further, look for more treasures on the beaches and also the delightful chance to picnic on a deserted barrier island of the tides choosing. Full day programs for intermediate and advanced paddlers can take us in conditions beyond the flat calm of the estuary and give us even more places to explore, with of course, plenty of choices for the beach style picnic for lunch.
