Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 04, 2022Vale Trails is a small RV park near the Oregon/Idaho border. The ladies at the office are extremely nice and helpful, pull-through sites are level and clean with grass and trees planted in between. This was a quick stopover for us on our way to Bend, and I'd stay here again if we were passing through.
There are train tracks running at the backside of the park - we only heard one train in the morning around 8:00, and there's a cattle auction yard nearby that sees action on Wednesdays, but it didn't bother us during our stay and didn't start very early.

Was skeptical because there seem to be 1/2 permanent residents but the peak was very quiet & clean. It is by a train track but there were no trains running at night. Upgraded WiFi advertised but we had a little trouble with the buffering. We received a $2 discount for AAA. Host is awesome! Would recommend a reservation or at least a call the day you are going. There was a lot of campers coming in. It is a Good Sam park. Would stay here again if in the area.

Not a bad place, decent for a one night stopover. Staff is super helpful and nice, let us move to larger spot so we didn’t have to unhook our pickup. When arriving, don’t follow your gps, go to the large sign that marks the entrance. Also, if you are a runner, there’s nice flat, straight road just to the east of the park; run to the bend in the road and it’s 1.5 miles so it makes a nice easy 3 mile out and back before getting back in the rig for the day.

From start to finish they were professional, friendly and very helpful. The site was nice and tidy and level. Full hookups. Smaller Rv park which makes for a easy drive in and park and quiet area. Grocery store not even a .25 mile from the Rv site. We did curbside and was so nice! They have a pet area and we needed supplies and they let us have some items shipped to the office while we were there. The owner came by the Rv to greet us as well. Very friendly and super hospitable. Great cell phone coverage and internet was good as well we do have a booster too so that helped. We have a 36’ class A and had no problems.

If you need a spot for one night, then this is it. It's a older park with a lot of long term RVers. Next to the railroad tracks and cattle yard so, lots of files and I hate flies. But for a one and done to dump and get some rest, it was okay. It was quite and plenty of room between rigs but we would not come back. The ladies at the visitor center told us about this place, I don't think they've been. Anyway your choice, safe travels.

Reserved 2 spots. Arrived at 4pm to find one occupied and office closed early. Called phone number and left message. No response. Our second trailer had to park in gravel lot in front of office with no electric, water, etc. Neither of us received our free WiFi either of course. Bad way to run a business!

Paid $45 but think it was worth $20. Could not hook to water. Occupants of site next to us had their outdoor rug and vehicle on a portion of our site. No grass, but it did have shade. No pool. It did have a laundry and restrooms which we did not need.
Although the staff was friendly, I would not stay here again.

This is a tiny park in a tiny town that is struggling a little and the park reflects its location. But it is very clean and mostly quiet. There is a work yard nearby with a very loud PA so you hear the woman giving directions all day. Nice staff. Minimal offerings in the office. Nice mural map - there are several in the little town.
Our 50 amp worked fine, we didn't hook up to sewer or water but their access was easy. Nice large shade trees so our satellite didn't connect. Although we were next to the office their wifi didn't work for us.
We felt safe and would stay again for a night during our travels. Really nothing to do in the area.
