“boasts two waterfalls”
This 387-acre park is located at the confluence of the East Fork of the Lewis River and Big Tree Creek, and boasts two waterfalls and an arch bridge more than three stories high. The park sits on both sides of the river and is heavily forested. The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad excursion train also passes through the park.
Great easy day hike. The trail map is misleading so pay attention since there are no trail markers that tell you which way to go. The loop trail is not accessible all the way around since the bridge over the creek is closed. I would still recommend going both ways and coming back as they were short easy trips. Will definitely go back as it is not far from the city and provides a lots of great views.
