Mad River Barn

For some a visit to Vermont will include a stay in a ski lodge that was established before 1950 on 800 acres of woodlands and gardens. Over the years, first with an addition of a large game room, then with seven pine paneled rooms with bath and then our "Annex", a farmhouse rebuilt to house 8 large rooms with bath, tv, queen-sized beds and steam baths for added comfort, we have kept up to a unique standard of informal hospitality. We invite you to join us. Each season at the Inn at the Mad River Barn is special. First the winter, a roaring fire, dinner at the Inn, the outdoors for all participants from snow shoe trails and back country skiing to nearby downhill skiing at Mad River Glen or Sugarbush ski areas or possibly to visit any of five nearby cross country ski areas.
