“where the pillows never stay put”
Brookside Manor has been haunted since 1965. We purchased the property in 1998, and since then several workmen and artisans have been visited by the ghost of Charles Fletcher, the person responsible for turning the house into a grand manor from a simple farmhouse. Pillows have disappeared and mysteriously reappeared. Very strange! The former innkeeper insists that this hotel is truly haunted. Every since 1965 the ghost of Charles Fletcher has visited workmen and artisans in full apparition. Fletcher was the man who took this farm and created a manor out of it. Sounds, voices and moving objects have all been reported. Strangest of all is the mysterious disappearing and reappearing of pillows in the manor.
