“dedicated in 1940 as "Josh Higgins Parkway", named for a popular radio character of the day”
The scenic beauty of George Wyth State Park makes it a very popular picnic spot. Three open shelters near the river and Fisher Lake.
Nice little campground...don't over look the sites on the Cedar river..watched hundreds of bats feasting on insects at dusk hover over the river as others enjoy their electric sites by the bathroom
