“home to more than 600 animals”
Wildlife Safari is a fun-filled family destination where you can view over 500 animals in their natural habitat roaming freely much as they do in the wild! Visitors to the park drive through a 4.5 mile trek to see animals from Africa, Asia and the America’s. This unique setting offers many opportunities to get up close and personal with animals large and small. The free Safari Village is home to over 100 unique animals, a petting zoo, beautiful gardens, the Gift Shop, Safari Village Café and the White Rhino Event Center.
Absolutely loved this place. The kids really enjoyed walking around the Safari Village and driving through the animals. It was awesome getting to see a giraffe so close-up.
Pretty cool. Drive thru zoo where the animals have more space to roam. got some killer photos and you can go around as many times as you want
This was the best part of our road trip. Kids and hubby enjoyed this stop. Fur babies are not allowed in but they have kennels available.
This was great! Lots of animals and they even came right up to the windows. The village has a little playground for children to work off some energy after a long car ride. It was off season so no train or camel rides but we all enjoyed it.
My kids (7 and 10) really enjoyed the safari. Take your time and let the speed racers pass you by. Take a lunch and take your time through the village as well. It took us 5 hours to stroll through and see everything.
Our family LOVED it - definitely worth the drive and cost. Up close to lots of cool animals and you can pay $5/cup to feed a few types of animals.
Our family had a blast! We drove through twice and loved feeding the deer. We’ll definitely be back.
We had so much fun in this Zoo, like this better than the San Diego Zoo Safari. Like the idea of driving your own vehicle to check on the animals and go on your pace.
You CAN'T miss this place if you're in the area. I went with my boyfriend (who I had to practically drag there with me) and he can't stop talking about how cool he thought everything was. We had a giraffe walk inches by us on the road and we got stuck in a buffalo traffic jam - not that we're complaining! Our only regret was that we had to stick to a schedule and couldn't stay longer. Give yourself a few hours (3 to 5, I'd say) to really take it all in. Also, there is a Groupon being offered this year that gives great discounts (about 50% off), so take advantage of the savings!
Wildlife Safari is a fun-filled family destination where you can view animals in their natural habitat, roaming freely as they do in the wild. We are also a world renowned medical and research facility and a nationally recognized educational facility for veterinary and biological sciences. These key points make Wildlife Safari a favorite stop for those traveling along the I-5 corridor through southern Oregon, and a worthwhile destination for those who haven't even considered our area in their travel plans.
