Welcome to Bib's Downtown, a venture between 3 friends who love food & Winston-Salem. We prepare slow cooked meats & tantalizing sides for your dining pleasure. Visit our website for information about weekly specials and our catering capabilities! Bib’s downtown is a labor of love for food and Winston-Salem. Co-Owner’s Ricky Seamon and Robert Moreau hatched the idea while on vacation in April 2006. Just acquaintances at the time, Ricky and Robert, to their surprise, had very similar ideas on the perfect restaurant for Downtown Winston-Salem. Following their vacation, they met over dinner once a week. During those weekly meetings, Ricky’s Father-in-Law, Mark Little, was folded into the mix. Mark became a co-owner and the core of the restaurant. Mark has had a personal cooking service specializing in on-site cooking of pulled pork, ribs, chickens and beef brisket. The name came from the fact that Mark Little wears “bib” overalls as his everyday attire. It is also fitting for our patrons to perhaps wear a “bib” to enjoy our food. Also, our location is “downtown” right across from the Forsyth County Public Library. All these facts together brought us fittingly to the name “Bib’s Downtown.”
