Katie's Pumpkin Barn

2128 New Germany Trebein Rd, Xenia, Ohio 45385 USA

“Pumpkins, farm animals and more!”

Come and see us for pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, indian corn, and bales of straw. Bring the kids to see our goats, dogs, sheep, chickens, peacock, and more! All of our pumpkins and gourds are already gathered in the barn. My Mom and I first started selling pumpkins over 16 years ago. Back then we sold pumpkins off the back of a trailer at the end of the driveway. It really wasn't until around ten years ago that we started to sell pumpkins, gourds and straw out of our barn. As the years went on we started to incorporate animals and photo-op's into the experience, increased our hours and even started this website! Many of our returning customers will probably remember my grandpa Henry helping me sell pumpkins each fall. He helped bring a great deal of happiness to both friends and families at the pumpkin barn through his many stories. Unfortunately, he passed away in May 2010. Although he is no longer with us, I believe he would want my Mom and me to bring that same joy to customers for years to come.

Having recently moved near Katie's Pumpkin Barn, I was really excited to get my Fall products from a local farmer. My husband and I took my parents and two year old niece to the farm to buy pumpkins and see all the animals. My niece loves animals and immediately became entranced by the goats. Everyone at the farm was picking up corn off the ground and feeding the animals, so my father started collecting kernels for my niece to use to feed the animals. The next thing we know, we are being asked to leave by the owner because we were "stealing" from her. When we tried to explain that we didn't realize that they sold feed for the animals inside the barn (there was nothing posted anywhere), she said she didn't want our business and "everyone knows we sell corn." She said we weren't welcome and needed to leave. The whole experience was really disappointing because we really were planning on buying our autumn decorations from Katie's Pumpkin Barn (and probably goat feed had we known it existed), but we were accused of being thieves without a warning and expelled from the farm. This could have become a really neat tradition for my family, but we will never be returning to this farm and can't recommend it to anyone after my family was treated so poorly.
