I'd never been to Arkansas before and this turned out to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. There are gorgeous trails, places to rent kayaks and canoes, and more stars at night than I'd ever seen. It's a bit of a drive into the Ozarks but the elevation isn't as high as I thought it would be and it was so beautiful that I would definitely go back. There are tons of bugs but rubbing some tea tree oil on ourselves and a little bit on our date ga seemed to keep most of the bugs at bay. The RV sites at Buffalo Point are large and fairly private as far as RV sites go. Really a beautiful and unspoiled place.
Love this campground and area in general. So much to do in the park.
