Abandoned Norfolk Southern Building

The saga of Norfolk Southern's downtown holdings is as long as its tracks. The property in what is known as the "gulch" has been on the market for nearly six years, with an asking price at one point of $40 million. The company purchased Midtown's Promenade I from AT&T Corp. in mid-2004. Instead of creating a clean break from downtown, the purchase started a slow migration earlier this year. Used as a filming location for "Captain America: Civil War"
