“Working to preserve the past and present for the future”
For many years the South Charleston Museum Foundation has been working tirelessly to preserve the past and present for the future. The Museum has collected, researched and preserved artifacts, historical records, and pictures. Today the dream of a place to display these items is closer to reality. Since 2004, the Museum has been presenting new and rare West Virginia films. With world premieres of landmark films about our region and state we have attracted hundreds of people to our programs. Many educational programs and events have also been held for school groups. Other programming includes such things as sponsoring a Belgian Festival, History Alive presentations through the Humanities Council, and bringing Ken Farmer, a nationally known antique expert, here for our Antique Appraisal Fair.
Do not be confused by the image they are showing. The image of the building with the sub is from the museum in Charleston, SC not WV.
this is in a theatre, 3 glass cases....that's the whole museum
