Merimbula Boardwalk

The Merimbula Boardwalk will take you on a journey around the ever-changing lake, over the water and mangrove beds, under eucalypt canopies and past Merimbula’s famous Sydney Rock Oyster farms. Look out for sea and shore birds, oyster farmers working their leases and consider stopping in at one of the cafes for refreshments. In the afternoon, the back of the lake, known as ‘top lake’ is a spectacular spot to watch the sunset. The easy grade walk is approximately 3.4 kilometres, takes around 1.5 hours to complete and is easily accessible for prams and wheelchairs. Access - Next to the bridge in Market Street, Merimbula or from Lakeview Drive at the rear of the lake.
