We have 16 studio, one and two-bedroom motel units and also a separate 10-bedroom backpackers lodge. Chanel Court Motel Backpackers Lodge is the ideal backpacker place for you to stay while you explore the Masterton and the surrounding Wairarapa. This former school hostel offers a range of clean and 11 comfortable individual rooms with different bedding options - single, twin and double rooms. All bedding is provided in the rooms and all rooms are individually lockable – no dorm rooms. Towels, toiletries, drink, food are not included in our rates. The backpackers lodge provides a safe and secure environment for travellers, contractors, groups and sports teams. Weekly rates are also available for anyone working or studying in Masterton or the Wairarapa for a longer period of time. Some criteria apply. A fully equipped kitchen, relaxed dining room, comfortable TV room with SKY TV, outside grass area, BBQ available on request and guest laundry. Located about 900m from the main centre of Masterton and about 500m from Kuripuni Shopping Centre where Pak'N'Save is, providing easy access to the town centre and nearby shops, cafe's, restaurants and bars. The backpackers lodge is also a short walk to the Masterton’s Tranzit Bus Depot and a short taxi ride to the Masterton Train Station.
