Aquatic Centre Whangarei

Nau Mai, Haere Mai! Welcome to the Whangarei Aquatic Centre.

We are more than 'just a pool'...but we do have some great pools. In addition to our 25 m indoor competition pool, we have a hydrotherapy pool, spa pool, tots' pool, hydroslides, Northland's only wave pool and a sauna.

We also have a fitness centre with a comprehensive range of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights and we run aqua aerobic fitness classes and hydrotherapy movement classes every day but Saturdays and public holidays. Our 6-week Ora Up programme, run at the beginning of each school term, ticks all the wellbeing boxes - physical, mental, spirtitual and social - with boot camps, yoga, seminars and group activities.

. We run holiday programmes and weekend wave raves for children and teens, and can also run a great birthday party for your child.
