The Waikino Station is the perfect place to stop off for lunch.Goldfields Railway operates daily providing passengers with a nostalgic journey between the historic gold mining town of Waihi and the Waikino Station. They even cater for cyclists wanting to put their cycles on the train and put their feet up for part of the journey.The journey by vintage train, takes in the country side with views of the Ohinemuri River along the way.There are open and closed carriages for your comfort (Wheelchair access with prior arrangement)
