Kinloch Beach

The trick is finding one that is not full of others also looking to dip or angry swans, annoyed about sharing their bathtub - like the main beach in town. A good option is Kinlock, fifteen minutes east of Taupo, which has a large pontoon for swimming out to with less people and fewer critters. The water is always clear, enticing the most unwilling of bombers to jump. To the left of the bay are rocks for just that (look for the local kids).
