“Used in the movie Looper”
This place is on private property. Listing for informational purposes only. Please do not visit without express permission from the land owner. This location has been torn down This is the location of the diner set used in the 2012 science fiction movie Looper. The diner was built for the movie but is abandoned and pretty easy to access along Highway 1010 in Louisiana. During filming, locals saw the diner set and kept asking the film crew when the new diner was going to open. Looper was shot in and around New Orleans which was doubled as 2042 versions of Shanghai and Kansas City in 2042.
Sorry guys but to has been torn down. Just went out there today and the floor is the only thing left.
Well done to Bailee Grissom for hunting the location down after hours of driving around Louisiana cornfields: http://brandsandfilms.com/2012/12/how-to-find-a-movie-location-the-diner-from-looper/
