“What RVing was meant to be”

Picture a secluded wooded setting with large green lawns, away from freeway noise yet only 5 minutes from town. Now taste the pure well water and hear the birds singing high up in the towering oaks and firs. Just another day at Deerwood RV Park. On 10 spacious acres, the sites are nestled among ponds, lawns and ancient trees. Get up early and walk the nature trail to the pond. If you’re quiet you’ll spot the Wood Ducks or one of the other fury or feathered residents.

We stayed here last year for a month and LOVED it! Well kept Grounds, plenty of green, friendly and accommodating staff. It's not too far from downtown either.

Loved running the Ridgeline trail that's about 10 mins away.

We chose this RV for its location, but were surprised by the lack of amenities and restrictions.
You can technically only use the drive way but not the surrounding grass.
Looks cool on the flier and website but the fact is that in the narrow isles you can other stay in your RV or in the 5ft width concrete after you parked at the edge of the drive way. If you have four slides you practicality can only sit under neath.

Water pressure:
Water pressure is high fluctuations 40-70 I recommend to use a regulator.

Not Pet-ready:
Even though it’s great place to walk your dog around the circular one way road there is no dog park to let the dogs off leash.
No bag dispenser and no bins available other than the main refuse area
There is a dog wash place but no water 🤷‍♂️

Noise: relative loud during rush hour
However at night it’s acceptable considering it’s on a main road with no adequate noise barrier.

Amenities:
No Barbecue, no swimming pool, only two showers with poor functioning shower head.
2 washer 2 dryers no ice machine, no propane, no safety lights, it’s quite dark at night to walk.
There is a gazebo tent 🤷‍♂️ With plastic chairs, Not sure why not a nice wooden structure that matches the landscape, feels like a wedding left over ceremony.

Not for beginners-Class C drivers
only few narrow drive troughs
If you have a tow a car 🚗 you better take wide turns.

Pulling in reverse is very tight, my 34ft had to cut through the grass to not scratch the front and park parallel.

Overall great landscape and shade but it’s a overkill considering it’s a RV park and you can’t use it other then than walking over it.

WIFI:
not stable, had to sign in 2x per movie.
And constantly buffering.

I’m working mainly online- I’m glad I had at least 2Sprint LTE bars WiFi did not work for my video consultations.

GOOD NEIGHBORHOOD
Guests were respectful, personnel friendly and helpful.

Would I come again?
Yes but i would pick a different spot in the far back
That has more room for 3 slide out and room to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

We stayed here for one night on our trip to the next national park (11 national Parks in 14 days trip)
We tried to stay closer to Crater Lake but one of the parks turned us down for having too small of a trailer (16’ Aliner)
I called Deerwood, a very friendly host answered who was happy to accommodate us.
When we pulled in we were greeted by beautiful RV park! Clean, quiet, well kept. Large, clean bathrooms, next to which was a small koi pond.
We only stayed one night and left very early so we didn’t use most of what the park has to offer.
They have a shelter area in middle of a large grassy field, with a bbq grill and tables, which we didn’t use, we didn’t use their water or sewer or laundry.
Their showers and laundry are open from 7AM to 9PM
They have 3 toilets 2 of witch are located in the shower area so plan accordingly.

This is everything we needed on our drive south. Super close to Eugene and Eric was so helpful and friendly. You can hear the freeway noise but it’s not bad. There is only one set of bathrooms and they are at the front.

We called same day afternoon and the host found us a spot. Spot 22 is their overflow with no patio table or grass. They had nicer available, but we didn't feel like backing in and only there for 2 nights and had to work online. We tried 2 other campgrounds in the area but they had poor signal.

Verizon Averaged 17mbps down & 8mbps upload

Beautiful grounds and very friendly staff. We were on the outer edge closer to the road and the road noise was the only negative about staying here. Clean restrooms and laundry room and they even had a Saturday morning breakfast for everyone! Definitely would come back, we’d just request to stay on the opposite side.

This is what you would consider a "hidden gem". Clean, well manicured park with adequately sized sites. 50amp full hook-up. The only downside is if you are sited on the western end, in the "60" series sites you will have a lot of traffic noise from I5. It dies down in the evening and our coach is well insulated so it wasn't an issue that would prevent me from booking here again. My T-Mobile and ATT hotspots both registered over 25mbps download speeds. More than enough for video streaming. The park does have a WiFi, but I didn't use it so I have no report. A laundry is on site and the machines can be activated by phone app or quarters. No "heavy duty" machine though. The dryers are strong and I only had to run the initial 45 minutes for dry clothes. The park is located with easy on/off of I5 and downtown Eugene is about 10 minutes away. There is a pizza delivery place, Roaring Rapids that will deliver to your site. And yeah, the pizza is good. Recycle bins for glass, cardboard and plastic are available. We didn't use the park restrooms or showers so no comment on those. Overall I think it was good value for the money.

This park was excellent. The sites are all paved and very spacious. There are 4 washers and 4 dryers that can be paid by an app so no coins necessary, which is such a nice perk! Very nice restrooms and showers as well. The owner is very friendly and active at the park; talking to everyone. The park is only 75 sites, but it’s nestled off the highway amongst huge beautiful trees! You can hear the highway but I didn’t find it to be an issue at all. It’s very close to Eugene, so only 10 minutes away from food and shopping. Verizon and AT&T both had excellent service. Would definitely stay again!

Eric and Jason were very helpful and went out of their way to help us, to accomodate us but due to limited space, we opted to stay for 1 night than move from one site to another.
There’s only 1 bathroom location ,by the entrance, which was pretty far from site 65.
The road access was narrow; difficult to back in from sites in the 20s. This camp is good for some but not for us.

This park was pretty nice. Our spot was close to the highway so pretty noisy, especially during the day but we slept fine at night. The streets inside the park are very narrow so we had to move our truck a couple times so people could back into their spot. The spots are clean with nice grass areas between each site. The internet was OK, we could work and stream TV with a few delays and/or drops. The workers are nice, a few people living there but they keep their sites picked up. It's about 15 minutes to anything; store, park, etc. I would stay here if in the area again.
