“a luxury vacation rental”
Our Ashland vacation rental has a wonderful history in southern Oregon. In June 1909 the Ashland Tidings announced that: The Hargrove sisters are getting ready to build an eight room residence on their corner lot at Spring and First Avenue. D.L. Gleen will be the contractor. Rogue Valley architect, Frank Chamberlain Clark had drawn plans for a commercial building for the Hargrove’s early in 1909 and it is probable that he was the architect of their new home. The house was completed by December and described as one of the handsomest bungalows in town. The Hargrove sisters, Ida and Anna, both natives of Indiana, worked for many years as milliners in Ashland. The house was included as part of Anna Hargrove’s estate in January 1942. Renovated in 2002 the DeLaunay House is now a luxury vacation rental in Ashland Oregon, featuring original artworks, collectables, heirloom antiques with hand painted accents to hand knotted rugs. Experience lush velvets quality bedding, and all the attention to detail of the finally appointed home. Enjoy walking just one block to all Ashland has to offer.
