Don't be fooled by appearances; when we drove into this easy-to-find park, our first thought was, "Umm, no." But we were so wrong. It's true, most folks in this park are permanent residents, but they were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the park is well kept. The camp host, Tabitha, was very hospitable. There is little-to-no privacy between sites and no grass to speak of, but -- if this is important to you -- the restrooms, showers, and laundry were beyond squeaky-clean, absolutely spotless, the whole time we stayed there. WiFi was fast and reliable. Spots are mostly pull-through.

The park is right next to the fairgrounds (empty at this time of year), so room to run with the dog every day. The park is totally pet-friendly as well; pretty much everyone there has a dog or cat. There isn't much in the way of restaurants or things to do in town, but the views of Mt Hood are spectacular. The wind blows all day, almost every day, so keep an eye on your awnings.

This isn’t fancy, resort camping but it is a good value. Sites are close together and only a few have shade. Each site has a picnic table and grill. RV sites have full hook ups with either 30amp ($20/night) or 50amp ($25/night) service and there are tent sites without hookups ($10/night). Weekly and monthly discounts are also available.

Surface is gravel, sites are a mix of long, level pull-throughs or back-ins. The back-in sites have more shade, but are closest to the road. Not much traffic on the road however, so noise was not an issue. The restrooms are spacious and clean. There is a coin laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Camp host was friendly and helpful. We stayed just one night and were happy with the accommodations, it’s a great place for an overnight stay. This is a good alternative to Maryhill State Park which is often booked solid.

We had 3 bars of Verizon 4G unboosted. The wifi was speedy and reliable during our stay, the best we’ve seen in many months. Basic cable TV is also offered.

We stayed at this RV Park in late July, 2017 on our way from Ashland, OR to Banff. Since it was high season, we wanted to make sure we had a reservation. It was difficult to make a reservation, as we had to keep calling the Sherman County planning dept and finally reached the camp host on the day we needed the site. The RV park is located near Hwy 97. The RV Park was extremely windy. We would not stay here again. We are going to stay at Grass Valley RV Park this year, further south on Hwy 97.

Great overnight stop. Restrooms are what you should find in $45/nite parks. Friendly staff. Mostly front to back sloping pull thrus. You will have to unhook trailers to level front to back. Plan on the little town of Moro being closed when you get there.

The Fairgrounds and RV park are surrounded by fields giving a feel of being out there while still close to town. It would have had nice views of Mt Hood except for the haze during our visit.
The sites were gravel pads off gravel roads with some brown grass. Hookups were toward the back of the sites. Along the road, the sites did drop down in the back so we could not level without moving the truck. We paid $25 for a 50 amp while 30 amp are only $20.
Mosie, our dog, really enjoyed playing ball and exploring the fair grounds which were not in use during our visit. He had a great time!
Saw some deer in the fields at dusk. Trucks with loud breaks went by during the day but we were not woken up by any at night.
We were glad we stayed here rather than Grass Valley after driving by it on our way out.

Wound up stopping here instead of boondocking since it was going to be in the 20’s. Had FHU site with 50 amp for $25. Hosts were friendly, campground is clean and easy access. Bathhouse was very clean. Was windy the afternoon we got there since it is surrounded by wheat fields. Over all quiet with only a little traffic noise. AT&T speeds were great at 40-50 meg. Didn’t try the campground wifi.
Do be sure to have fuel and groceries though, the only place to get fuel you have to be a member and there is no grocery store, just a convenience store type place.

Very nice RV park with clean restrooms centrally located in park. Part of the fairgrounds. Great host. We used electricity only for $10 one night.

Since others have noted the host was friendly and helpful, I will chalk our stay as "everyone has a bad day sometimes". This day, the host seemed put out, like he needed to get back to something more important than helping a guest. Otherwise, as noted before, bathrooms were very clean and our site had easy, level, access. A very reasonable stop, especially considering the price for full hookups.

Sites aren’t completely level and sites would feel close to each other IF there were a lot of folks here. However, for a $20 overnight stop with hookups, this location was perfect. The place is clean. After-hours registration is available and easy to understand. The campground is well away from Hwy 97 and associated traffic noise. Wifi was reportedly available but we didn’t use it - full service available with AT&T at least.

Stayed two nights in my Campervan. Peaceful agricultural area overlooking town of Moro with small grocery store and museum. $10 to dry camp, $20/25 for full hookups. Clean modern restrooms, showers and dump $3 if you're not staying. Laundry $1.50/1.50 Park peaceful and quiet! About 20mins to Columbia river and highways. WiFi and strong cell service.
