“watch the sandhill cranes & blue herons”
This 300-acre site is an excellent example of historical small prairie hammocks that appeared in this part of the county. There are two wildlife blinds that overlook the wetlands frequented by sandhill cranes; wood storks; great blue herons and other birds.
