This hotel/waterpark is now closed permanently.
I was initially sceptical as I couldnt find many pictures of this place. The water park looked small and did prove to be very small - more suited for younger kids than teens. Jacuzzi area was really nice and big. Kids allowed in Jacuzzi which I love.
Our deluxe room was nice and big for $150. The hotel is old and rundown in many areas but the lobby and cafe are nice.
Its worth the money but manage your expectations.
Kids were ecstatic when we drove ip and saw the water slides coming out the side of the building! Great customer service, great atmosphere, super comfy beds, Starbucks on site and a AWESOME indoor water park too. Hours to the park might be wierd, but adjust your schedule and make it work! Super Fun Place!
Check when you make reservations - the indoor water park has odd hours and closes early on Tuesday and is closed completely on Wednesday.

Definitely not an upscale resort. This is actually better defined as a "casual resort". It's less than five miles to Albuquerque's Old Town, and about 5 miles to the aquarium and zoo. TIP: Request a poolside room, or a room with a jacuzzi tub. The major feature of this hotel is the indoor water park. There's also a cafe where you can grab a coffee, and an onsite bar.
Water park is fun for the kiddos. Dad enjoyed the surf/wave feature.
Hotel was a two star, water park a solid 3 maybe 4. Housekeeping knocked on the door three times between 8:30 and 10:15 even though checkout was at 11:00. Room felt used and worn out. Staff overall was not courteous. Towel rack at the pool was empty.
Have to remind yourself kids love the water park and like the koi pond.
Oh and there's a $14 water park tax. But the hotel and water park passed separate.
I'm generally a positive person but staff seemed unhappy to be there.
nice place. good atmosphere.
