“Recreation of a 1930 Sinclair gas station”
Here you will find a wealth of information for the Route 66 roadie, by proprietor Gary Turner, Sharing his knowledge of the mother road with all who share their love for the road. Recreation of a 1930 Sinclair gas station, taking you for a journey in time. The site includes a replica station, along with original pumps and other memorabilia from the heyday of Route 66.
One of the offbeat attractions that I weirdly enjoyed. We met the owner, Gary. He was so full of information about route 66. He was such a sweetheart. It was pretty nice that we could definitely feel that he has so much love for the road. He is also very knowledgeable about the things the you can do in the surrounding areas. You can buy shirts from his shop, too. Definitely one happy place.
the friendliness gentleman on route 66...he'll give you a soda and great conversation!!!
This man is a must meet on route 66. No way to describe him. Let's just say we just wanted to take a picture of his gas station and stayed for almost two hours.
George, Gary's son-in-law was great and very informed as to where to go. Loved all the old stuff he had. It was a museum of old things including cars and two that ran and he's restoring another.
A very unexpectedly pleasant stop on Route 66. Sadly Gary has passed on, but his son-in-law George is doing a fantastic job picking up where Gary left off. George was outside greeting all the guests and making sure everyone was having a good time. The property has two little gift shops, portable bathrooms and wooden fence for all guests to sign. This is a Route 66 must stop!
We loved loved this stop we learned a ton , my kids loved it and the new owner is wonderful
It's says it's closed now. Owner passed away.
The original owner Gary and his wife have passed, but their daughter Barbara and her husband have stepped in. No nicer people around. He is a USMC vet and will show you anything you want to see. Great hospitality and a few Route 66 items to purchase
Closed down, but we still took some cool pics

I loved this place. I got to meet Gary with my sister-in-law back in 2013. He was a delight. He shared Route 66 sodas with us and signed my Route 66 book. I had locked my keys in the car and was getting a little frantic as we were headed to a concert in OKC. My sister-in-law was able to get into the car via a piece of wire on the fence, lol. Anyway, Gary was very sweet and took pictures with us both. I can't wait to meet his daughter and tell her in person what an amazing guy he was. A very cherished memory. <3
