Texas Canyon Rest Area Westbound

This place is spectacular. The rest stop (we turned around and visited the eastbound side) is completely surrounded by the huge towering boulders and there is an area within the rest stop where you can climb on and between these massive boulders. This is a combination rest stop (restrooms, vending) and scenic view and natural playground. Worth the stop.

Very cool spot to stop - Rock formations felt like Bedrock and Fred and Barney were going to pop up!
